This is a Day 1, market-creation hire. Most enterprise teams in Singapore are experimenting with AI coding assistants. Very few have made the jump to a true agentic lifecycle - where agents are orchestrated to own planning, implementation, testing, review and release as part of the engineering team.\nWe are hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to be that bridge. You will be deployed inside enterprise engineering orgs, prove what's possible in 30 days, and then scale it org-wide.\nPayroll, benefits and compliance for this role will be managed by EOR partner in Singapore. Your day-to-day mission, clients, and technical mandate will come directly from the client.\nWhat You'll Own\n1. Client Transformation - From Pilot to Scale\nYou are the field lead. You will run discovery, map the client's current SDLC, identify high-ROI agentic opportunities, and run focused 4-week pilots with their engineers. Your goal is to convert pilots into multi-team transformation programs and become the trusted advisor to their CTO / VP Eng.\n2. Build The Agentic Operating Model\nYou will design how agents actually work in an enterprise:\nBuild reusable orchestration layers - AGENTS.md, rules, skills, sub-agents, hooks, background / cloud agents\nCreate synchronous and asynchronous workflows that take toil away from humans - backlog triage, test generation, migration scripts, dependency upgrades\nConnect agents to the enterprise - MCP servers, SDKs, internal APIs, Jira / GitHub / CI systems\nExtend beyond engineering into Product, Design, QA and PM to close the loop\n3. Make It Enterprise-Ready\nEnterprises don't scale what they don't trust. You will:\nPut guardrails in place - AI code review, security scanning, policy checks, eval harnesses\nRun pragmatic model and tool evaluations - what model for what task, cost vs. quality trade-offs\nDefine metrics that matter - adoption, cycle time, review time, defect rate - and report them to leadership to drive expansion\nWhat Success Looks Like in 6 Months\n2-3 enterprise pilots delivered in Singapore and converted into expansion\nA Singapore-specific ADLC playbook that other FDEs can reuse\nReference architectures, demos and case studies that unblock the sales cycle\nWho You Are\nBuilder first. You've been an engineer for 8-12 years and you are hands-on every day.\nField proven. 2-5 years in a client-facing technical role - Forward Deployed, Solutions Engineering, DevRel, or Tech Consulting. You are comfortable whiteboarding with engineers in the morning and presenting ROI to a CTO in the afternoon.\nAgentic native. For the last 1-3 years, agentic tools have been your default way of building, not a side project. You have opinions on agent design that come from real enterprise use.\n0-to-1 mindset. You know how to create structure when there is no playbook, no big team, and no existing brand in the market.\nCommercially sharp.
