Keep reading to learn more.\nRole Overview\nThis is a client-facing position in which you will work directly with customers and translate their requirements for our Engineering team. As a Legal Engineer, you will own customer relationships and become a trusted partner, taking the time to understand how each customer works, the challenges they face, and where Newcode can have the greatest impact. As the bridge between our customers and Engineering, you will combine legal expertise, product thinking, and customer success skills to ensure our platform solves real-world problems and continues to evolve based on customer needs.\nThis role focuses on customers in Sweden and requires regular travel within Sweden and periodic travel to Oslo, Norway as well as in the rest of Europe. The primary work location is Stockholm, Sweden.\nKey Areas:\nDrive Legal Innovation\nPartner with law firms, their partners and innovation teams, and Newcode’s Engineering team to design and deliver AI-powered solutions that address real legal challenges. \nDesign, build, and continuously refine AI-enabled, agentic workflows that fit how law firm customers work, address practical use cases, and deliver measurable value through automation and process optimization. \nDevelop a deep understanding of each customer’s legal workflows, business objectives, and operational challenges in the context of Swedish legal practice, and translate their requirements into scalable solutions, optimized prompts, and practical use cases. \nDocument best practices and create reusable playbooks to accelerate future customer implementations. \nStay on top of the latest AI developments and translate relevant advances into practical solutions for law firm customers. \nOwn the Customer Journey\nOwn customer relationships from onboarding through long-term adoption and success, acting as a trusted strategic advisor who helps customers succeed with AI. \nLead onboarding sessions, workshops, and pilot programs; establish success metrics; and proactively address adoption challenges to drive use across teams and practice areas. \nLead regular meetings with clients to understand their priorities, review progress, and align on next steps. \nPartner with Sales to support renewals, identify expansion opportunities, and contribute to long-term customer growth. \nIdentify emerging market opportunities and evolving customer needs to help shape Newcode's product strategy. \nDrive Adoption & Strategic Enablement\nServe as the voice of the customer within Newcode by gathering, prioritizing, and communicating customer feedback to Engineering, ensuring customer insights influence product development and future innovation.\nRequirements\nMinimum Requirements\nYou have experience practising law at a Swedish law firm. \nYou have at least three years of relevant legal practice experience. \nYou hold a Swedish law degree (juristexamen) or an equivalent legal qualification. \nYou bring relevant experience from a law firm, judicial clerkship, in-house legal role, knowledge management function, or legal operations team. \nYou have hands-on experience with AI, such as training users, leading an internal rollout, or building an AI-powered tool. \nYou can communicate clearly with clients and colleagues in both Swedish and English. \nInterview Process:\nStage 1: Screening Call\nStage 2: First One-on-One Interview with Newcode Legal Engineer\nStage 3: Second one-on-one interview in person in Stockholm\nStage 4: Interview with C-level.\nReference check and hiring decision is made within two weeks of reference checks.\nVisa Sponsorship:\nAt this time, Newcode is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
