This role helps drive regional initiatives, adapt innovation to local needs, and execute plans that deliver both near-term results and long-term brand success. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the position ensures smooth coordination, clear communication, and disciplined execution to bring products to market and achieve key business objectives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssortment & Portfolio Management: Maintain product portfolio databases and assortment lists; track changes and ensure updates are reflected in systems and tools.\nGate Meeting Support: Prepare materials, gather data, and coordinate logistics for gate meetings; document and follow up on action items.\nMarket & Category Insights: Support the team with data collection and research on market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor products to inform product decisions.\nItem Set-Up: Manage product data entry and item creation in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support global extensions.\nRegulatory Management: Support compliance processes by tracking regional regulatory requirements and coordinating documentation with cross-functional partners.\nInstruction Book Development: Coordinate the creation and updates of product instruction manuals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with safety/regulatory standards.\nLanguage Translations: Manage translation requests and workflows for packaging, instruction books, and product materials, ensuring consistency across regions.\nCross-Functional Coordination: Partner with internal teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Brand, and Regulatory) to ensure smooth execution of product-related tasks.\nGo-to-Market & Launch Support: Assist in regional product launches by coordinating timelines, packaging needs, and cross-functional deliverables.\nBusiness Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance and key market indicators, identifying opportunities to optimize in-year results and long-term growth.\nCompetitive Tracking: Monitor competitor launches, product claims, and pricing in key regions to support differentiation and global innovation plans.\nProduct Expertise Support: Build foundational product knowledge for assigned appliances by tracking features, specifications, and regional adaptations to support regional product launches.\nSoft Skills & Competencies\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across global and regional teams.\nAnalytical and solutions-oriented thinker, able to translate insights into actionable recommendations.\nCulturally aware and adaptable, demonstrating sensitivity to diverse markets and business practices.\nHighly organized with solid project management abilities and attention to detail.\nCapable of managing multiple priorities independently while maintaining alignment with cross-functional partners.\nProactive, resourceful, and curious, with a global mindset and a passion for driving international growth.\nRequired Experience/Qualifications:\nA four-year college degree, MBA preferred. \n2+ years of prior experience in product management, brand management, or a related role within consumer goods, appliances, or electronics preferred.\nStrong understanding of marketing principles. \nExperience supporting international markets or working in multicultural environments preferred.\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop insights. \nCreative thinking and problem-solving skills. \nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. \nStrong communication skills, written and oral. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing analytics tools. \nUp to 10% travel potential. \nFluent in English and Spanish (preferred)\nNewell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
