Some travel will be required.\nJob Responsibilities:\nSupport the development and execution of qualification plans for new products and changes to existing products/processes.\nSupport the identification of risks to product quality and the development of mitigation plans.\nAssist internal and external manufacturing sites in developing Advanced Product Quality Planning tools including Failure Modes & Effects Analysis, Control Plans, and PPAP.\nCollaborate with internal/external groups to help determine root cause of customer/consumer defects, complaints, and corrective/preventative actions.\nSupport the performance and follow-up of Quality Management System Audits.\nAnalyze data from a variety of sources to identify quality improvement opportunities and opportunities to reduce Cost of Quality.\nAssess product to determine if specification/quality requirements are satisfied.\nAssist with the development of Quality-related procedures and forms.\nCollecting, analyzing, and summarizing data in reports to management with recommendations.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required.\n0-2 years in related field required.\nDemonstrates ability to use Microsoft Office applications such as Excel & PowerPoint.\nFamiliarity with quality techniques such as SPC, Six Sigma, and measurement systems analysis.\nPrevious exposure to production processes in a manufacturing setting.\nDemonstrates knowledge of problem solving techniques and strategies, including root cause analysis, 8D, 5Why, PDCA methodologies.\nDemonstrates basic understanding of manufacturing processes.\nDemonstrates strong interpersonal and project management skills.\nDemonstrates excellent communication skills-verbal and written.\nDemonstrates ability to perform in a team environment.\n*Please note this position will not sponsor H1B visa or support OPT status.\nNewell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
