The supervisor establishes daily goals, monitors performance, and drives improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy. The supervisor leads and develops Leads and hourly team members while ensuring efficient operations and timely customer support.\nMAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES\nLead and supervise Leads and hourly team members, including training, scheduling, coaching, performance management, and daily work direction.\nManage daily Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory activities to meet operational and customer requirements.\nEnsure accurate transactions, inventory levels, material transfers, and on-time delivery of customer orders.\nMonitor department KPIs, staffing, capacity, and performance to identify and address opportunities for improvement.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.\nSupport and drive PEAK and SEAL activities, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nIdentify and implement productivity, efficiency, and cost-saving opportunities within the Distribution Center.\nTroubleshoot operational issues and work with other departments to resolve problems and meet business needs.\nEnsure employees follow company policies, safety procedures, and performance expectations.\nSupport customer service needs and maintain effective communication with internal and external partners.\nUphold Newell Brands Values and the Code of Conduct.\nComplete other projects and responsibilities as assigned by management.\nKNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT\nBachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent working experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.\n3-5 years of distribution supervisor experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated knowledge of SAP, PKMS, Ariba, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products.\nStrong working knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehousing procedures.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to coach, develop, motivate, and hold associates accountable.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\nStrong communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.\nMust be able to work flexible shifts and manage a dynamic workload.\nFamiliarity with DOT/Hazmat regulations.\nValid driver’s license with driving record within MVR policy guidelines.\nAbility to analyze data and draw conclusions.\nMust be detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-up skills.\nContinuous improvement project experience preferred.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nMust be capable of sitting, standing, and/or walking for extended periods of time.\nRequired to work in a physical environment subject to temperature extremes.\nMay be required to lift up to 50 pounds.\n#LI-DM1\nNewell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
