This role is part of a centralized pool of HR professionals who collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs), HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and functional leaders to deliver consistent, high-impact HR support to designated segment, region and functional leaders. The HR Consultant plays a critical role in executing core HR processes, enabling leadership effectiveness, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with company’s strategic objectives.\nResponsibilities\nManager Support & Coaching:\nAct as a trusted advisor to people managers, providing guidance on HR policies, tools, and best practices.\nCoach managers on handling employee relations, team dynamics, and performance challenges.\nPerformance & Talent Management:\nSupport goal setting, mid-year check-ins, and year-end performance discussions to drive accountability and development.\nEmployee Relations (Tier 1):\nAddress and resolve non-complex employee concerns and workplace issues.\nEscalate and collaborate on complex or high-risk matters with HR Strategic Advisors, Employee Relations, and Legal as needed.\nSupport the execution of core HR processes including Reductions in Force (RIFs), offboarding, leave management, internal investigations, and compensation transactions.\nSystem & Transactional Support:\nSupport managers in executing job changes, promotions, and resolving HRIS/system-related issues (e.g., SuccessFactors).\nEnsure data integrity and timely processing of HR transactions.\nTraining & Enablement:\nSupport the delivery of training sessions and toolkits to build manager capability in HR processes and systems.\nServe as a subject matter expert on HR tools and resources.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.\nSolid progressive HR experience (mainly coaching leadership & talent management), preferably in a matrixed or global organization.\nBilingual Portuguese-English\nDemonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive results.\nStrong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to business goals.\nProficiency in using data and analytics to inform decisions and measure outcomes.\nExperience leading change management initiatives and fostering organizational agility.\nProven ability to coach and develop talent across various functions and levels.\nNewell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
