The ideal candidate will be responsible for starting, operating, and adjusting manufacturing machinery and equipment. This role requires a focus on safety, an understanding of quality, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to work independently.\nResponsibilities:\nUse technician computer to monitor and record machine statuses as well as maintain daily records of maintenance or other projects preformed\nDiagnose faults, malfunctions, and mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs\nCalibrate or adjust machinery or equipment to ensure quality production\nTest, troubleshoot and adjust manufacturing machinery and equipment\nKeep work area clean and organized\nOther items as directed by management\nLevel 1 Skills Include:\nLOTO assessments, JSA creation\nBasic multimeter usage (voltage and resistance checks)\nHydraulic, air, and water hose fabrication\nHot stamp and auxiliary equipment troubleshooting\nDrilling tap and die, thread insert repair\nBlender and weigh bin calibration\nNozzle and heater block wiring\nAdvanced rigging\nSilicone sprayer troubleshooting\nCompounding, low and high pressure injection fundamentals\nMold change process and repair fundamentals\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.\nProven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.\nForklift, cranes and other industrial vehicles experience preferred\n2 or more years of mechanical or technical experience preferred\nMust be able to use hand tools ranging from common hand and power tools to fabrication tools\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking basic English.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift and carry heavy objects.\nAbility to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.\nComfortable working in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nOpportunities for professional development and growth.\nSupportive and collaborative work environment.\n\nNewell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
