In the role of Environmental Graphic Designer, you will help shape meaningful branded experiences by translating ideas, stories, and identities into creative environmental graphics that connect people to place.\nTheEnvironmental Graphic Designe r is responsible for the conceptual development and delivery of unique branded touchpoints, including brand identity development and expansion, exterior and interior signage, retail communications, wayfinding, artistic displays, and historical exhibits. Working collaboratively with the Branded Environments team and other project disciplines, this position supports graphic programs from concept through production while delivering thoughtful, original, and brand relevant design solutions that reflect client objectives and NewGround's commitment to excellence.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop innovative, original, and brand relevant design content. \nCollaborate with the Design team in the development of presentation content. \nParticipate in internal project kickoffs, brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and other collaborative project meetings. \nPresent concepts and designs to internal teams, the Creative Director, Director of Branded Environments, and clients as appropriate. \nObtain brand identity materials, historical assets, and other resources from clients as needed to support project development. \nCoordinate and collaborate with the Creative Director, Branded Environments team, Program Management, Project Architects, Interior Designers, and other project team members. \nManage assigned graphic programs from concept through production with support from Senior Designers and the Director of Branded Environments. \nDevelop and maintain design review and presentation schedules in coordination with the project team. \nSupport client review and approval of assigned creative projects with guidance from Senior Designers and the Director of Branded Environments.\nCollaborate with production resources, vendors, installers, construction teams, and field staff as needed to support accurate and successful execution of design intent.\nSupport project storytelling and the development of project content that may be used to support Business Development efforts.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nEXPECTATIONS\nDemonstrate creative thinking and strong design execution while maintaining attention to detail and alignment with project and brand objectives. \nCommunicate clearly, proactively, and professionally with team members, clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders. \nMeet established project deadlines and communicate progress, priorities, and potential challenges in a timely manner. \nCollaborate effectively across disciplines and contribute positively to brainstorming, design reviews, and project development. \nDemonstrate initiative, organization, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities. \nRespond constructively to creative direction and feedback while continuing to develop design capabilities and professional expertise. \nContribute to a positive, collaborative work environment that reflects NewGround's core values and commitment to excellence. \nTravel occasionally, up to 20%, to support client meetings, project needs, installations, and other business requirements. \nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES\nOne to three years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer or in a related design role. \nBachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, or degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or a related discipline preferred. \nProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat, with continued development of Adobe Creative Suite expertise. \nWorking knowledge of Microsoft platforms, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. \nKnowledge of graphic design principles, media, typography, branding, and current design trends. \nBasic knowledge of production processes and experience working with third party printers, vendors, and installers.\nAt NewGround, we believe in investing in our people.
