We identify high-value sites, work with landowners and local communities to develop them, and partner with long-term asset owners to bring the most impactful clean energy projects to life.\nPosition Summary \nThe Project Manager, IPP (“PM”) is responsible for the day-to-day execution of projects during construction and commissioning. This role manages contractors, schedules, budgets, and site activities to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with approved plans. The PM operates within established cost, schedule, and technical frameworks and escalates risks, changes, and issues in accordance with the IPP’s organizational and governance structures.\nPosition responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: \nProject Execution\nLead day-to-day execution of assigned projects to commercial operation.\nServe as the IPP’s primary point of contact for EPC contractors, major suppliers, and third-party inspectors during construction, escalating commercial disputes or high-impact technical issues\nSupport commissioning, performance testing, and punch-list resolution.\nPrepare and organize COD documentation and turnover materials.\nReview EPC Contractor and vendor compliance with PWA, insurance, and other contract requirements\nIdentify and document contractor performance issues or contract deviations, escalating to senior leadership for formal notice preparation and resolution\nAssist in organizing commissioning schedules, tracking punch-list items to completion, and compiling turnover documentation for the Asset Management team.\nSchedule, Cost, and Reporting\nMaintain and update detailed project schedules and construction plans.\nTrack weekly project expenditures against approved budget, update progress tracking models, and review contractor invoices against progress tracking models. \nPrepare accurate, timely project reports for senior leadership, lenders, and internal stakeholders.\nIdentify schedule and cost risks early and escalate with clear documentation and recommendations.\nChange Management\nIdentify potential changes in scope, cost, or schedule and initiate change orders.\nCoordinate technical evaluation with the Director of Engineering and commercial review with senior leadership.\nLog potential change orders, collect backup documentation (cost estimates, schedule impacts) from contracts, and support senior management in reviewing change order packages. \nImplement approved changes and track execution impacts.\nQuality, Safety and Compliance\nConduct routine site visits, safety observations, and progress verification.\nCoordinate factory acceptance testing logistics, schedules, and documentation with vendors, EPCs, and Engineering.\nEscalate safety incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.\nSupport incident investigations and corrective action implementation in coordination with senior leadership and contractors.\nDesired Qualifications \nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.\nAt least three years of renewable energy construction or project management experience (IPP or EPC).\nStrong understanding of construction sequencing, contractor management, and site safety.\nExperience supporting change management and contract administration.\nExcellent communication, organization, and escalation judgment.\nCompensation\nNew Leaf Energy compensates all employees in three ways: market-competitive base salary, plus above-market variable compensation, plus an equity-like program such that all employees experience the benefits of ownership. We use a data-driven and transparent methodology to calibrate compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable, guided by the New Leaf Energy compensation manual, which is available to all employees.\nUnder our compensation framework, the likely base salary range for this position in the Boston location is $117,043 - 136,939. The on-target annual cash bonus associated with this position is an additional 10% percent of base salary.
