To learn more, visit nmrk.com or follow @newmark.\nAs a Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of functions and duties which include but not limited to shipping, receiving, inventory, forklift, and back-up delivery driver.\n Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders accurately and on time\n\nEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standards\n\nAcknowledge and take receipt of all incoming and outgoing material in systems\n\nProperly package and manifest parcel, LTL, and large freight as required to ensure product integrity throughout the transportation cycle to intended destination\n\nResponsible for all aspects of shipping\n\nEnsure all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checked for damage, and correct asset inventory numbers and quantity as required\n\nManifest consignments with information provided by requestor and schedule movements accordingly based on delivery demand (FedEx, UPS, 3PL vendors, expedite courier services, etc.), ensuring that each package has the correct information and configuration to guarantee intended delivery conditions\n\nCreate shipping documents, packing slips, shipping labels and BOL's meeting the client’s processing requirements\n\nCreate/print identifying labels for all material/packages being shipped for traceability\n\nFile and maintain records of shipping documents by departmental guidelines\n\nPerforming cycle counts to ensure proper inventory\n\nTrack critical shipments and update delivery status to requestors\n\nResponsible for system integrity for all shipments including coordination with requestor and distribution to ensure timely product delivery\n\nMaintain strict material handling practices in accordance with best business practices\n\nAccurately update required tracking systems\ni.e.: spreadsheets, modules, external data sources\n\nOperate forklifts and material handling equipment per safety procedures\n\nMaintain good housekeeping in area\n\nCoordinate internal receipt pickup and internal delivery service as required\n\nSupport the organization’s metric goals and objectives\n\nPerform picking function of material and hardware as required, ascertaining that all parts are accounted for.\n\nWillingness to learn other areas and aspects of role, including:\nSC360\n\nFileNet to process shipping and receive documents (Electronic filing cabinet)\n\n 3+ years of experience in a Warehouse environment\n\nExperience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control\n\nValid Driver’s License\n\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nExperience with completing a Pro forma invoice (commercial invoice)\n\nStrong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft, Excel and Power Point\n\nCertification operating a forklift or other material handling motorized vehicles and equipment (will train and assist with certification if not certified)\n\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with little direction\n\nAdditional Requirements:\nAbility to lift up-to 50 lbs.\n\nRepeated lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying.\n\nFill in as Backup Delivery Driver to neighboring client locations.\n\nReading comprehension, multitasking, critical thinking, coordination.\n\nMay perform other duties as assigned.\n\nWorking Conditions: Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements\nNote: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.\nNewmark is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
