This is a global benchmark that recognises employers who create an outstanding employee experience.\nRole summary\nAs Stock & Facilities coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that the service maintains the correct level of clinical & non-clinical stock by working closely with the Consultants, Management team and the Operational Director.\nThe Stock & Facilities coordinator is a key member of our team, taking regular stock level checks for the business and continuously looking for financial opportunities to ensure that our service is cost effective. You will be placing orders, processing stock through the Stock Management System and liaising externally with key suppliers to maintain our stock levels. You will also be involved in assisting forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out of stock.\nYou will have a friendly and accessible personal manner and will be able to deliver an effective service to Newmedica Oxfordshire. You will be able to work within small teams to maintain and enhance processes and maximise quality and efficiency. The OJV has developed a strong relationship with the local ICB and neighbouring Trusts, and this post will be a pivotal part of that ongoing relationship.\nFull training will be provided for this role\nWhat we’re offering\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays \n£28,000 per annum\nA company pension scheme \nOpportunities to develop and grow within the business\nAccess to a range of benefits including free eye tests, discounted or free glasses, and a retail/technology discount scheme. \nAn environment where your learning and development is supported through a range of various learning tools and courses. \nWorking with a friendly multi-disciplinary team passionate about improving the lives of our patients \nFree food/snacks trolley\nMonthly governance day with lunch provided\nA free 24/7 well-being/counselling/advice service\nA bright, spacious and modern working environment, built to the highest standards \nCycle to work scheme \nMonthly Gift voucher rewards\nWhat will the role involve?\nStock Control:\nPlacing all stock orders to ensure that theatre, clinic and treatment room have the consumables required in accordance with the schedule\nBe lead for Genesis stock control system\nChase late orders, receive in stock and ensure stock rotation minimizes wastage\nMaintaining stock levels in line with the schedule versus managing the cash flow\nEnsuring that all reusable stock is turned around in a timely manner according to the contract versus the schedule\nEnsure that records are maintained regarding stock orders versus stock received so that finance can approve invoices\nEnsure that records are maintained regarding the stock received, transferred to clinic date etc. as per the medicines management policy\nFinance & Procurement:\nEnsure all invoices are paid correctly\nEnsure procurement is carried out correctly. This includes managing large capital equipment.\nEnsuring there is an organised approach to doing things correctly\nEnsure private patient lenses are ordered, returned and paid for correctly.\nFacilities Management:\nLead on all areas of facilities management including organisation of repairs, cleaning, and suppliers\nGeneral housekeeping.\nWhat skills and experience do I need for the role?\nTo have a full understanding of the pathways and resources needed for various clinic appointments as well as theatre\nTo gain comprehensive knowledge of stock requirements per clinical session and surgeon’s preferences with theatre consumables\nTo have a full understanding of the CQC regulatory standards\n\nWe are looking for individuals who have:\nGCSE’s in at least Maths and English\nExperience in an administrative role and can understand and deliver within a complex working environment.\nGood organisation skills and the ability to multi-task.\nAn ability to tailor their approach to a diversity of patient needs.\nAn outstanding telephone manner with the ability to adapt approach to different situations.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nIf you would like an informal chat about the opportunity, please contact \nOur employment offers are subject to receipt of satisfactory pre-employment checks.
