We operate responsibly and take pride in our community partnerships - including working closely with local Traditional Owners - as we create sustainable value in the region.\nYour Impact\nAs a Technician, Mechanical, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of Boddington's wet plant processing assets. Working across the milling and gold recovery circuits, you will support safe, efficient production by delivering high-quality mechanical maintenance that maximises plant availability and equipment reliability\nAs Part of Our Team, You Will\nPerform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance across wet plant processing equipment, including milling, flotation, CIL, carbon regeneration and elution circuits.\nMonitor, inspect and maintain critical fixed plant assets to support safe and reliable gold processing operations.\nConduct fault finding, equipment repairs and component replacements to minimise downtime and improve asset performance.\nUse SAP and other maintenance systems to record work activities and support effective maintenance planning.\nWork collaboratively with Operations and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets while maintaining Newmont's safety and environmental standards.\nPrerequisites for Success in This Role\nAustralian-recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification.\nDemonstrated mechanical maintenance experience within a wet plant mineral processing, gold processing, concentrator or metallurgical processing environment.\nExperience maintaining equipment associated with milling, flotation, CIL/CIP, carbon regeneration, elution or similar metallurgical processing circuits.\nExposure to SAP or equivalent CMMS systems, with a strong commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.\nCurrent C Class Driver's Licence; High Risk Licences, Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights qualifications are highly regarded.\nYour Work Environment\nThis role is based at Boddington Gold Mine and operates on an 8:6 dayshift-only roster. You will be part of a dedicated Wet Plant Mechanical Maintenance team supporting the site's milling and gold recovery circuits, working closely with Operations and Maintenance stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant performance.
