The program provides rising seniors the opportunity for professional development by building relationships, gaining corporate experience, learning about our industry, and preparing students with the experience needed to have a rewarding career at our organization. The ideal candidate can see the big picture in any situation, has an entrepreneurial and process improvement mindset and can handle any situation with composure and empathy. We’re looking for assertive, well-spoken, and compassionate students who are dependable, service-minded, and results-oriented.\nThe Facilities Intern will fully immerse in the day-to-day activities of our facilities team whose objective is to maintain efficient and smooth operations of our 100+ office locations by ensuring health and safety standards are met, tracking expenses, and coordinating with external vendors.\nPrimary Responsibilities \nSupport daily facilities operations, including troubleshooting recurring issues, setting up workstations and desktop environments for new hires, mange tickets, assist with seating plans and space management, and create and maintain spreadsheets to track equipment, furnishings and other materials.\n\nPerforms assigned duties, under direction of experienced personnel, to gain knowledge and experience\n\nPerforms business analyses and provides recommendations to leadership for business and process changes\n\nReceives training and performs duties in several functions in order to become familiar with line and staff functions, management viewpoints, company policies, and best practices\n\nObserves experienced team members to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties\n\nWill be required to attend company sponsored training classes, activities, and events\n\nBuild relationships with employees and colleagues\n\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nCurrently pursuing a four-year college degree with a scheduled graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring of 2028.\n\nDegree in Logistics, Hospitality, or Business preferred.\n\nKnowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements\nHighly developed organizational and project/time-managementskills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines\n\nExcel in a team-oriented, collaborative environment while contributing to the creation, design, and implementation of value-add business strategies that affect current operating practices and company policy.\n\nBe able to clearly articulate and present ideas and findings to a varied audience, including the operations staff and senior leadership.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nProficiency in quantitative analysis\n\nAbility to adapt\n\nWillingness to learn\n\nAn entrepreneurial business mindset\n\nStrong business communication skills with an ability to work well in a collaborative environment\n\nStrong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task and work well individually\n\nStrong skills in Excel and/or Tableau (charts, graphs, pivot tables, formulas, macros etc.)\n\nExperience with PowerPoint is a plus\n\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
