The Document Verification Specialist must be well organized and detail-oriented with a specific focus on efficient production of quality results.\nDESCRIPTION\nEssential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities\nTimely and accurately review, validate, and execute documents related to foreclosure actions.\nProvide clear, concise feedback to foreclosure firms on documents that require revision.\nCalculate, prepare, compile, and provide judgment figures and other debt information to attorneys.\nEnsure accounts are properly documented with accurate and comprehensive status updates.\nFollow established company guidelines, department policies and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with all investor requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to shorten timelines, drive performance and minimize losses for the department, company, clients, and investors.\nPotentially may testify at deposition/trial in person, by telephone, or Zoom.\nAssist on other projects assigned by management.\nAbility to effectively and accurately convey information to others.\nPerforms related duties as assigned by management.\nQualifications and Education Requirements\nHigh school diploma required.\nCollege degree preferred.\n2+ years foreclosure experience required.\n3+ years direct foreclosure or mortgage servicing related experience required.\nActive Notary Public commission required.\nSkills, Abilities, and Knowledge\nProficiency of Black Knight/LPS required.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office- Outlook and Excel.\nMust be proficient in Adobe/FoxIt PDF editor.\nClear, concise verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities by maintaining a daily worklist in addition to other assignments.\nExcellent computer and internet skills.\nMust be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and be able to work with general supervision applying established procedures and specific standards.\nRequired to work in physical office location.\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\nWorking on-site at assigned office location.\nRegular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.\nFlexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.\nWorking in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.\nSedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.\nConstant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.\nConstantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.\nAdditional Information:\nWhile this description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the position’s requirements, it in no way implies/states that these are the only job responsibilities.
