We do this by empowering our employees, encouraging innovative solutions and recognizing great performance.\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThe Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in driving the financial planning and analysis process, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This individual will partner with cross-functional teams to provide insights, identify trends, and improve financial performance. Operates with moderate independence.\nDESCRIPTION:\nDuties and Responsibilities\nOwn reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes for specific business units, functions, or projects.\nBuild models and dashboards to forecast and analyze KPIs and business unit performance. Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and communicate key drivers to stakeholders.\nProvide financial insights to support business unit leadership. Partner with business units to evaluate initiatives, build business cases, and support decision-making.\nExecute key planning activities with guidance from manager.\nPrepare management reporting packages with commentary on variances, KPIs, and financial metrics.\nIdentify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.\nParticipate in long-range planning and scenario analysis.\nProvide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.\nPerforms related duties as assigned by management.\nQualifications and Education Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics.\nMBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.\n5+ years of experience in FP&A, ideally mortgage related.\nSkills, Abilities, and Knowledge:\nStrong Excel and reporting skills; familiar with BI tools and financial systems.\nSolid grasp of accounting fundamentals.\nExperience with ERP and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive).\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nDemonstrates ownership and accountability.\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements:\nWorking on-site at assigned office location.\nRegular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.\nFlexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.\nWorking in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.\nSedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.\nConstant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.\nConstantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.\nAdditional Information\nWhile this description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the position’s requirements, it in no way implies/states that these are the only job responsibilities.
