Our international remote-first team values autonomy, curiosity, accountability, and measurable impact.\nWhat You Will Do\nIdentify useful opportunities for AI agents across Newsmatics.\nBuild and test agents for internal and customer-facing use cases.\nConnect agents to company data, documents, APIs, search systems, and external tools using MCP.\nGather feedback and evaluate the impact, reliability, security, and cost of different solutions.\nFollow new AI models, tools, and best practices, and explore how they could apply at Newsmatics.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nPractical programming skills in Python or TypeScript.\nHands-on experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications, including working with agent frameworks, MCP (Model Context Protocol), RAG, and connecting agents to external tools or data sources.\nFamiliarity with APIs, databases, and backend development.\nAwareness of how to test AI solutions and assess their limitations, security risks, and costs.\nAbility to recognize when simpler automation or conventional software may be a better choice than an AI agent.\nCuriosity about applied AI, a habit of following emerging tools and best practices, and the ability to turn an open-ended problem into a working solution.\nInitiative and the ability to collaborate effectively in English within a remote international team.\nExperience with cloud services or deploying AI solutions to production is an advantage, but not a requirement.\nWe value practical skills, curiosity, and the ability to learn more than years of professional experience.\nEnvironment & Technologies\nOur environment includes Python, TypeScript, REST APIs, AWS, Linux, LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and Docker.
