You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our broadcast facilities in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa. You will maintain appropriate logs, as well as operate and monitor analog and digital transmitters in accordance with FCC guidelines.\nJob Responsibilities:\nResponsible for all operational aspects of the broadcast areas, including but not limited to local products, commercials, promos, and PSAs for a clean and accurate product.\nOperate transmitter and transmitter control systems. Follow procedures in case of failure. Monitor tower lights to ensure they are in good working order as well as following EAS procedures.\nResponsible for ensuring quality control of our product, audio levels, as well as any incoming feeds.\nMonitor incoming and outgoing broadcast feeds to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory standards.\nOperate master control equipment including servers, switchers, routers, and automation systems. \nExecute on-air schedules according to programming requirements, including commercial breaks, program segments, and live events.\nCoordinate with the production team to ensure smooth transitions between live content.\nMaintain accurate logs and documentation of all broadcast activities, including program schedules, transmission logs, and equipment maintenance records.\nEnsure compliance with FCC regulations, company policies, and quality control standards. \nRespond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, including severe weather alerts or other broadcast interruptions.\nAssist with training new staff members or master control operations and procedures.\nPerform other job-related duties as assigned. \nJob Schedule: This is a full-time position primarily working 40 hours per week. You may also be called upon at times to fill in other hours and days of the week to help cover vacations, illnesses, breaking news, severe weather, or special projects/events.
