HGV 2 Driver Distance Run Temp to Perm

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV 2 vehicles for long-distance deliveries across various locations.
• Ensure timely and safe transport of cargo while adhering to all transport regulations.
• Perform pre-journey vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
• Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain records as required.
• Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers about delivery schedules.
• Support loading and unloading of goods as needed, maintaining safety protocols.
• Adhere to strict health and safety practices, checking loads and vehicle are secure.

Requirements

• Valid HGV 2 driving license (Class 2).
• Demonstrated experience as an HGV 2 Driver, particularly in a long-distance driving role.
• Strong understanding of driving laws, vehicle maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Exceptional driving record with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Ability to meet tight schedules and maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Strong communication abilities and a customer-focused approach.
• Flexibility and willingness to transition from a temporary to a permanent role.
