The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Connected TV, streaming media, and digital video landscape, along with established relationships at media agencies and direct clients. Prior experience managing upfront negotiations, TV contracts, and cross-platform media deals is essential. \nKey Responsibilities: \nDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to grow CTV advertising revenue within the healthcare and pharmaceutical categories. \nCultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at agencies, holding companies, and direct brand clients. \nManage the full sales cycle - from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract execution. \nPartner with Ad Operations, Marketing, and Client Success teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery and client satisfaction. \nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to create innovative advertising solutions tailored to client goals and compliance requirements specific to the healthcare industry. \nLead and participate in upfront and scatter market negotiations, optimizing inventory and revenue opportunities. \nStay informed on CTV trends, competitive landscape, privacy regulations, and evolving pharma marketing compliance standards. \nConsistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. \nRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings. \nQualifications: \nBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). \n5+ years of sales experience in media, with at least 2+ years in CTV, streaming, or advanced TV. \nProven track record in healthcare/pharmaceutical advertising sales, with established relationships at major agencies and brands. \nDirect experience with TV and video upfronts, contract negotiations, and media buying cycles. \nStrong understanding of ad tech, measurement, targeting, and programmatic ecosystems. \nExcellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills. \nHighly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. \nPreferred Attributes: \nExperience working with HIPAA-compliant advertising solutions. \nFamiliarity with DSPs, SSPs, data partnerships, and programmatic CTV tools. \nPassion for innovation in the TV and digital video advertising space \nSalary range: up to $180,000/annually commensurate with experience\nNewsweek is an equal opportunity employer.
