The work is detail-driven rather than technical. A programming, engineering, or translation background is welcome but entirely optional; templates, guidelines, and onboarding support are provided throughout.\nKey Responsibilities\nLocalization Handoff Package Preparation: Compile and maintain localization handoff packages for translation vendors, including capturing in-game content and mapping in-game scenes to string tables.\nPre-Handoff Verification: Carry out build smoke tests before submitting builds to the translation team.\nUpkeep and Version Control: Regularly update the supporting documentation database.\nLocalization Support: Assist with localization tasks, including subtitle verification and editing, and game footage recording.\nAd-hoc Tasks: Support the Content Operations team with any ad-hoc tasks.\nKey Qualifications\nStrong attention to detail and an organized approach to work.\nCuriosity about how and why things are done, with an interest in suggesting improvements once familiar with the process.\nComfortable using documentation tools such as Google Sheets and Notion, with the ability to learn new tools readily.\nFluent in English.\nNice to Have\nThe following are not required but can help you in your day-to-day tasks:\nBasic understanding of gameplay design and flow.\nA passion for exploring diverse game mechanics and genres.\nWe Offer\nCompetitive compensation package.\nFlexible working hours and vacation policy.\nProduct-driven culture that treasures talents and individual growth.\nFront-row seat and hands-on experience with cutting edge technologies in the evolving gaming field\nNex is located in San Jose, California, USA and Hong Kong.
