In this role, you will contribute to building and enhancing our data engineering framework, helping develop a clear and concise data model that supports data science, ETLs, internal tools, and self-service data solutions.\nYou will have the opportunity to contribute to a team focused on making data more accessible and actionable, while designing and building scalable data engineering solutions to solve business and data problems.\nLocation: Mexico (Remote)\nThis position is open exclusively to candidates who are currently residing in Mexico. Candidates who are not currently based in Mexico will not be contacted for this opportunity.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.\n3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a closely related field, with strong experience in data modeling and data job development.\nFamiliarity with technologies such as Spark, dbt, Fivetran, and Airflow to access an S3 data warehouse.\nExperience with AI coding agents, such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools, and an interest in using them to understand and build software.\nExperience partnering cross-functionally and gathering input from stakeholders.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to simplify and move complex problems forward.\nProduction-level coding experience in Python and SQL.\nInnovative mindset and willingness to take on new challenges and learn from potential failure.\nResponsibilities:\nContribute to the development and enhancement of the data engineering framework.\nHelp build infrastructure that centralizes ETL logic and metric definitions.\nDesign and build scalable data engineering solutions to solve business and data problems.\nContribute to the development of a clear and concise data model supporting data science, ETLs, and internal tools.\nHelp develop self-service data and tools that facilitate scalable decision-making.\nCollaborate with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to gather input and identify opportunities for improvement.\nContribute ideas and technical solutions that support impactful, data-driven directions.\nUse AI coding agents to understand existing systems and build software.\nContribute to a culture of technical collaboration and scalable development.\nWork on projects with visibility across the organization and help reduce friction in how teams use data.\nWhat you can expect from us\nHere at Nexaminds, we're not your typical workplace.
