In this role, you will contribute to building and improving cloud-native infrastructure and internal developer tooling. You’ll work on tools and automation that help product engineers deploy, operate, and debug services more easily, while learning modern platform engineering practices alongside experienced teammates. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy improving developer experience and want to grow their skills in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems.\nLocation: Mexico (Remote)\nThis position is open exclusively to candidates who are currently residing in Mexico. Candidates who are not currently based in Mexico will not be contacted for this opportunity.\nRequirements:\n2+ years of experience in software development and infrastructure engineering, with significant contributions to technical projects.\nExperience with AWS or other cloud-based providers.\nExperience with container orchestration, CI/CD, or production observability; deep expertise is not required.\nUnderstanding of cloud infrastructure and modern software development practices.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills, with an interest in understanding how systems work and improving reliability over time.\nAbility to break down problems and implement solutions with guidance.\nStrong developer empathy and a genuine interest in improving developer experience and engineering productivity.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with platform and application engineers.\nEagerness to learn and adopt new technologies, including AI-assisted development tools and LLM-powered solutions.\nResponsibilities:\nContribute to the development and evolution of an internal platform-as-a-service used by application and service developers.\nBuild and maintain tooling that improves developer workflows, deployment reliability, and day-to-day productivity.\nCollaborate with platform and application engineers to identify friction points and implement incremental improvements.\nLearn and apply best practices around Infrastructure-as-Code, containerized workloads, and CI/CD pipelines.\nUse, or eagerly adopt, AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.\nExplore and help integrate LLM-powered solutions that automate internal support and operational workflows.\nTroubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues while contributing to improvements in system reliability.\nPropose ideas and improvements to enhance platform capabilities and the overall developer experience.\nWork closely with experienced teammates and leverage mentorship and guidance to develop modern platform engineering skills.\nContinuously learn and apply best practices across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and developer tooling.\nWhat you can expect from us\nHere at Nexaminds, we're not your typical workplace.
