The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure, and data modeling, and is comfortable working on complex data engineering initiatives in a collaborative, Agile environment.\nJob duties:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Databricks, Azure, and Microsoft technologies.\nDevelop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, integration, and data consumption.\nDesign and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business and technical requirements.\nImplement data architecture patterns and standards established by Principal Engineers and Architects.\nContribute to data modernization, migration, and consolidation initiatives.\nSupport the decomposition and transformation of legacy data structures and applications.\nDevelop scalable and maintainable data solutions that support complex business domains.\nCollaborate with Principal Engineers, Architects, and Engineering teams to implement enterprise data strategies.\nTroubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, models, and platform components for performance, reliability, and scalability.\nApply data quality and validation practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and reusable solutions.\nWork with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\nDocument data models, technical solutions, and implementation decisions.\nSupport continuous improvement of data engineering practices, architecture, and platform capabilities.\nRequirements:\n5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nStrong hands-on experience with Databricks.\nStrong experience working with Microsoft Azure.\nStrong knowledge of the Microsoft data ecosystem.\nSolid understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.\nExperience designing and implementing scalable data solutions and data pipelines.\nExperience with data ingestion, transformation, integration, and downstream data consumption.\nExperience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.\nExperience contributing to data migration, modernization, or re-platforming initiatives.\nUnderstanding of data architecture and how data models support business domains and applications.\nAbility to translate business and technical requirements into effective data solutions.\n*]:pointer-events-auto [content-visibility:auto] supports-[content-visibility:auto]:[contain-intrinsic-size:auto_100lvh] scroll-mt-[calc(var(--header-height)+min(200px,max(70px,20svh)))]\" data-turn-id=\"request-WEB:2093ca9d-d6bb-4dac-9795-2b28cd5013d9-1\" data-testid=\"conversation-turn-4\" data-scroll-anchor=\"true\" data-turn=\"assistant\">\nNice to have:\nExperience with domain modeling or domain-oriented data architecture.\nExperience with multi-tenant data solutions.\nExperience consolidating or migrating data from multiple databases or legacy systems.\nExperience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, or Power BI.\nExperience with Python, SQL, or PySpark.\nExperience with CDC / Change Data Capture, event-driven architectures, or messaging.\nExperience with data quality, governance, metadata, or data discovery.\nWhat you can expect from us\nHere at Nexaminds, we're not your typical workplace.
