If you're driven by ambition, success, fun, and learning, Nexaminds is where you belong.\nNexaminds is actively looking for a Mid Data Engineer to join our growing engineering team.\nQualifications we are looking for:\n5+ years of experience as Data Engineer.\nHands-on experience with Debezium for change data capture\nHands-on experience with Kafka and/or Azure Event Hubs for data streaming\nProven experience building and operating CDC pipelines in production\nComfortable working across a large, complex data estate - hundreds of databases and thousands of tables\nStrong SQL and data modeling skills\nExperience troubleshooting data pipeline issues: schema drift, replication lag, backpressure, failure recovery\nStrong communication and leadership skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills inEnglish\nJob Duties:\nDesign, build, and operate CDC pipelines using Debezium to capture changes from source databases\nStream and route data through Kafka and/or Azure Event Hubs, ensuring reliability and low latency\nOperate and scale pipelines across hundreds of source databases and thousands of tables\nIngest and model streamed data in Databricks, using Lakeflow CDC or comparable tooling\nMonitor pipeline health, troubleshoot data drift, schema changes, and replication lag\nPartner with backend and data teams to define schemas, SLAs, and data quality standards\nDocument pipeline architecture and operational runbooks\nNice to have:\nFamiliarity with Databricks, especially Lakeflow CDC or comparable managed CDC/ingestion tooling\nExperience with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs)\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD for data pipelines\nBackground in observability/monitoring for data platforms\nPrior experience working on client-facing engagements or staff augmentation tea\nWhat you can expect from us\nHere at Nexaminds, we're not your typical workplace.
