The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices. This role will work closely with Software Engineering, Infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to optimize deployment processes, improve system reliability, and support the continuous delivery of cloud-based applications.\nLocation: Mexico (Remote)\nThis position is open exclusively to candidates who are currently residing in Mexico. Candidates who are not currently based in Mexico will not be contacted for this opportunity.\nRequirements:\n5-7 years of professional experience in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nStrong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud infrastructure management.\nExperience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, or similar technologies.\nStrong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar technologies.\nExperience with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, or ECS.\nStrong knowledge of Linux environments, system administration, and troubleshooting.\nExperience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.\nUnderstanding of cloud networking, security best practices, access management, and infrastructure monitoring.\nExperience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system availability and performance.\nFamiliarity with version control systems such as Git and Agile development methodologies.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and highly available applications.\nBuild, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.\nDeploy, manage, and support containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.\nMonitor infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.\nImplement and maintain cloud security best practices, including access controls, network configurations, and infrastructure protection.\nCollaborate with Software Engineering teams to improve deployment processes, application performance, and operational efficiency.\nAutomate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting and DevOps tools.\nTroubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.\nSupport infrastructure scalability, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity.\nOptimize AWS resource utilization, performance, and infrastructure costs.\nParticipate in technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nDocument infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and operational procedures.\nWhat you can expect from us\nHere at Nexaminds, we're not your typical workplace.
