The Group industrial and Purchasing controller will work closely with the Group controlling team and the operational teams (Industrial, Purchasing, BG CFO), combining strategic insight with a strong focus on execution and process development.\nArea of Responsibilities :\nIndustrial Controlling\nDesign and implement industrial performance management tools and reporting processes, in coordination with the Industrial team\nDevelop monthly performance reporting and operational dashboards.\nAnalyze production costs, standard costs, product profitability and margins.\nDefine and monitor key manufacturing KPIs such as productivity, scrap rates, and quality-related costs.\nSupport monthly closing activities and ensure the reliability of management reporting data.\nPerform variance analysis between budget, forecast and actual performance.\nPartner with plant managers and operational teams to identify performance improvement opportunities, drive action plans, set targets for the different phases of the reporting (budget, forecast, mid term plans)\nParticipate in profitability analyses and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects for the different phases of the reporting: budget, forecast, mid term plans\nProcurement Controlling\nEstablish and develop procurement performance indicators and reporting structures, in coordination with the Purchasing team\nMonitor purchasing spend, supplier costs, savings initiatives and procurement performance.\nContribute to the preparation and monitoring of procurement budgets.\nSupport Purchasing teams by providing financial analysis and decision-making insights.\nTrack raw material and component cost evolution, drive action plans and set targets for the different phases of the reporting (budget, forecast, mid term plans)\nTransformation & Process Improvement\nDesign and formalize management control processes that are currently non-existent or insufficiently structured.\nStandardize cost calculation methodologies and management reporting practices.\nPromote a performance-driven culture based on reliable KPIs and actionable insights.\nParticipate in the development of reporting, Business Intelligence and analytical tools.\nSupport operational teams through change management and process adoption initiatives.\nAct as a catalyst for continuous improvement across the organization.\nProfile :\nMaster’s degree in Finance, Controlling, or a related field\n5 to 7 years of experience in industrial or operational controlling.\nPrevious experience within a manufacturing environment is essential; plant-based experience is highly desirable.\nStrong knowledge of industrial costing, standard costing, inventory management and performance analysis.\nGood understanding of procurement, supply chain and manufacturing processes.\nAdvanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with reporting and analytical tools.\nExperience with industrial ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar - preferably SAP).\nProven track record in implementing or improving management processes, controls and reporting frameworks.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3578,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"master","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T23:30:37Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":2,"expected_fill_days":22,"reasons":["conf:47","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/nexans-industrial-and-purchasing-controller","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/nexans-industrial-and-purchasing-controller.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-28T22:43:13Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":354,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4646,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-29T00:00:00Z"}}}
