We are a vertically integrated manufacturer and our products are made at facilities located in Quebec, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.\nAs a Product Assortment & Demand Manager, you will report directly to the Leader, Commercial Excellence & Continuous Improvementof the Business Group PWR Grid&Connect North America.\nGETTING TO KNOW THE POSITION\nThe Product Assortment & Demand Manager is responsible for governing the company’s product portfolio while ensuring alignment between customer demand, supply availability, and operational execution. The role combines product lifecycle management, master data governance, and demand coordination to support a consistent and transparent customer experience.\nThis position serves as a central liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Supply Chain, managing backlog visibility, monitoring delivery commitments, and coordinating revised estimated delivery dates. Through structured product management and demand oversight, the role ensures portfolio clarity, ERP data integrity, and improved communication across the organization.\nHOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT\nProduct Master Data & Governance\nOwn product master data (MDM) within the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with governance standards.\nMaintain ERP hygiene through routine audits and data quality reviews.\nPartner with IT and Operations to resolve data discrepancies and improve master data processes.\nProduct Assortment & Lifecycle Management\nLead quarterly and annual product assortment reviews to align portfolio strategy with customer needs and company objectives.\nAnalyze product performance, complexity, and profitability to recommend additions, rationalization, or product discontinuations.\nManage product lifecycle governance including new product introductions, maintenance, and end-of-life transitions.\nEnsure clear communication of product changes across Sales, Marketing, and Operations.\nDemand & Backlog Management\nMonitor and manage the customer order backlog to ensure visibility into demand and delivery commitments.\nTrack and review revised estimated delivery dates (ETAs) with manufacturing plants and supply chain teams.\nIdentify risks to customer deliveries and proactively communicate updates to Sales.\nEscalate critical supply constraints and coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts.\nMaintain alignment between customer expectations and operational realities.\nCross-Functional Demand Coordination\nAct as a key liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.\nFacilitate regular reviews of backlog status, order prioritization, and supply constraints.\nSupport alignment of demand signals with operational capacity and inventory availability.\nEnsure consistent communication regarding order status, product availability, and supply changes.\nReporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement\nSupport development of dashboards and reporting tools for product performance, backlog trends, and delivery performance.\nIdentify opportunities to improve demand transparency, backlog visibility, and cross-functional coordination.\nSupport process improvements that enhance customer experience and internal efficiency.\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE ?\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.\n5+ years of experience in Product Management, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, or Supply Chain coordination roles.\nExperience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate across commercial and operational teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, or B2B environments.\nExperience working with backlog management, demand planning, or supply coordination.\nExposure to Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies\nWHY WORK WITH US?\nThis role requires occasional travel (Interesting and varied work in an international, dynamic and multidisciplinary environment\nAs a group, we believe in empowering our employees to reach their full potential, that's why we're committed to providing you with a range of internal mobility opportunities for professional and personal development\nComprehensive benefits package including flexible dental/healthcare/vision options, a competitive Company matched Defined Contribution Plan, additional voluntary retirement fund options\nType of Position: New position\nUse of AI: None\nSalary: [$90,000.00 per annum to $100,000.00 per annum]\nRequests for accommodation due to a disability (which may be visible or invisible, temporary or permanent) can be made at any stage of application and employment.
