# Production Shift Supervisor

GETTING TO KNOW THE POSITION As a Production Shift Supervisor, you’ll be responsible to supervise the production department according to safety, quality, production and delivery reliability standards. HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT Interact directly or indirectly with other departments (maintenance, engineering, customers and suppliers) to resolve problems with the breakdown of equipment, process control problems and quality issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimize lost production time and meet delivery requirements. Provide motivation, coaching and support within the scope of responsibility for operator compliance to machine production targets & speed, continuous improvement, and corrective actions. Resolve problems with machines or with the product being manufactured (test failures and materials not passing specification) in order to ensure manufacturing efficiency.
