Join us to electrify the future!\nWELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM\nYou will join the Tender & Project Purchasing team - a diverse, multicultural team with colleagues in Norway, France and the UK.\nWe are responsible for managing and coordinating all purchasing activities for tenders and projects, in line with Nexans’ purchasing procedures. In weekly team meetings we share ongoing activities, lessons learned and best practices.\nYour workplace will be our Oslo office.\nYou will be part of a purchasing team of about six people, working on a broad range of purchasing tasks primarily related to tendering and supporting our vessel operations.\nThe matrix organization and project setup ensure a strong cross-functional collaboration and good information flow across disciplines.\nAs Senior Purchaser - Tender & Projects, you will:\nTake responsibility for various purchasing packages to support ongoing projects.\nProvide costing and procurement input to Nexans’ Tendering Teams.\nWhen you join us, you will experience professional and personal development opportunities and varied work in an international, dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.\nHOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT\nWe are looking for bright, business-oriented team players to support our tenders and projects on all purchasing-related tasks.\nIn this role, you will:\nPerform purchasing activities in line with Nexans processes and procedures\nPrepare, analyse and evaluate supplier and subcontractors offers\nPresent and discuss recommendations with the tender and project teams\nActively contribute to continuous improvement with a cross-functional mindset\nYou will work to:\nReach our yearly KPI targets while complying with corporate procedures\nAct fairly and transparently towards our suppliers\nEnsure healthy competition in all purchasing processes\nMaintain a strong focus on safety and quality in everything we do\nDuring project execution, you will:\nEnsure high-quality deliveries\nContribute to efficient project execution\nMinimize variations and claims through close follow-up of internal stakeholders, suppliers, contracts and deliveries\nYOUR STARTING POINT\nYou recognize yourself in several of the points below:\nYou have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain and some years of relevant experience.
