Supply Chain Manager - Nexans Battipaglia Plant

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to join our Battipaglia plant, a key manufacturing site within the Nexans Group. In this role, you will lead end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring efficient material flows, reliable production planning, and outstanding service to our customers in the cable and energy solutions industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee integrated planning, including demand forecasting, production load analysis, and capacity alignment.
  • Lead the S&OP process at plant level, coordinating inputs from Sales, Production, Procurement, and Logistics.
  • Ensure material availability by managing procurement activities, stock levels, and supplier interactions.
  • Supervise logistics operations, including warehouse flows, transport coordination, and drum/coil management.
  • Manage the order portfolio, ensuring accurate confirmations, timely deliveries, and high service performance (OTIF).
  • Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, cost control, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance on credit-sensitive customers
  • Collaborate with European Supply Chain teams on group initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in planning, logistics, procurement, andS&OP within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SAP/ARIBA is a plus.
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience in similar roles within structured industrial environments.
  • Preferable experience in manufacturing or companies with complex supply chains.
  • Leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
  • Fluency in English and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. French is a plus
