Please do not share 30-day notice/joiner profiles.\n\nABOUT THE ROLE : \n\nWe are looking for a hands-on Solutions / Test Architect - QA Playwright to lead and scale automation strategy using Playwright as the core framework.\n\nThe ideal candidate will be a strong automation expert who has architected robust Playwright frameworks from scratch and can drive modern, scalable, maintainable and CI/CD-integrated testing across complex applications.\n\nThis role will act as a technical authority for automation architecture, governance, engineering standards and best practices, while providing technical leadership across automation initiatives.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES : \n\n- Architect and implement end-to-end automation using Playwright across UI, API and integrated systems.\n\n- Design and scale reusable Playwright automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM), fixtures, custom utilities and modular architecture.\n\n- Establish automation standards including folder structures, naming conventions, coding standards and governance.\n\n- Integrate Playwright automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and GitLab.\n\n- Implement cross-browser, parallel and headless test execution strategies.\n\n- Establish effective reporting, logging, debugging and observability mechanisms.\n\n- Collaborate with Development, DevOps and Product teams to drive shift-left quality engineering practices.\n\n- Provide technical mentorship, conduct framework reviews and perform code reviews.\n\n- Evaluate and recommend complementary tools for API automation, mocking, test data management and other QA needs.\n\n- Drive automation strategy and continuous improvement across projects.\n\n- Explore and implement AI-assisted testing capabilities such as intelligent test generation, self-healing locators and flaky test detection.\n\n- Manage technical escalations and effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.\n\n- Manage client expectations and provide solutions to complex automation challenges.\n\nMANDATORY SKILLS : \n\n- 8+ years of experience in QA / Test Automation Engineering.\n\n- 10 - 15 years overall experience preferred for this role.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.\n\n- JavaScript / TypeScript mandatory.\n\n- Strong Selenium Testing experience.\n\n- Proven experience designing and scaling Playwright frameworks from scratch.\n\n- Strong knowledge of Playwright fixtures and custom setup.\n\n- Experience with Page Object Model (POM), reusable utilities and modular framework architecture.\n\n- Strong experience with parallel execution and performance optimization.\n\n- Strong understanding of cross-browser testing strategies.\n\n- API automation using Playwright and/or REST libraries.\n\n- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\n\n- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and/or GitLab.\n\n- Strong Git and branching workflow knowledge.\n\n- Ability to manage escalations and client expectations.\n\n- Hands-on architect mindset -
