This role involves working with Shopify's ecosystem (including Liquid templates, Shopify APIs, and apps).\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\nFrontend : \n\n- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (Vanilla/ES6 or frameworks like React).\n\n- Ensure responsive, high-performance UI/UX design for cross-device compatibility.\n\n- Work with Shopify's theme architecture, including sections, templates, and metafields.\n\n- Implement interactive UI elements and animations where needed.\n\n- Optimize front-end performance for speed and SEO.\n\nBackend : \n\n- Integrate third-party apps and APIs using REST and GraphQL.\n\n- Develop custom Shopify apps using Node.js, React, Next.js, or Ruby on Rails.\n\n- Build private or public Shopify apps with features like admin extensions, webhook handling, and secure API communication.\n\n- Manage backend services such as order sync, inventory sync, CRM/ERP integrations.\n\nRequired Skills : \n\nCore : \n\n- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating.\n\n- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.\n\n- Experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront/Admin).\n\n- Experience with custom app development (Node.js/Express or Ruby on Rails).\n\nPreferred : \n\n- Familiarity with Headless Shopify implementations using Next.js/React.\n\n- Experience with GraphQL, especially Shopify's Storefront API.\n\n- Working knowledge of Shopify Hydrogen (for full-stack custom storefronts).\n\n- Understanding of webhooks, OAuth, and Shopify App Bridge.\n\nQualifications : \n\n- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n\n- 2 -
