This person will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation systems, energy management, network communications, and build and maintain strong customer relationships. We are willing to train the right person!!\nPay Range:\n Pay range starts at $30/hour, however, compensation is negotiable and we welcome transparent conversations with qualified candidates.\nKey Responsibilities\nRole-Specific Duties:Safely perform scheduled preventive maintenance routines with senior technician.\nAssist in commissioning and startup to ensure proper operation of systems.\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, hardware, and software.\nDiagnose communication problems.\nCreate, load, test, and tune system databases.\nInstall, replace, and recommission control systems devices, equipment, and software.\nProvide on-site training to customers.\nCreate and maintain accurate test records and other documentation. \n\n Organization-Specific Duties:Provide exceptional customer service by communicating and fully explaining current issues, timelines, and resolutions to customers when appropriate.\nIdentify and report to owner potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).\nDocument all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment and company work vehicle.\n\nEssential Qualifications and Competencies\n Role-Specific:2+ years of building automation experience required\n2+ years of HVAC or electrical experience preferred\nBackground in Johnson Controls (JCI), Honeywell, or Schneider Controls preferred\n\nOrganization-Specific:Strong interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to work efficiently.\nHigh level of reliability, follow-through, discretion and integrity.\nProactive, positive problem-solving skills.\nWritten and oral communication skills.\nMust maintain a company vehicle.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis\nMust be able to climb up and down Scaffolding, Ladders, Stairs as job requires.\nU.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory\nApplicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.\nThis job requires performing duties inside federal/state government buildings, public schools, and other sensitive population facilities.
