We are therefore looking for a senior IT professional with broad infrastructure and operations experience and a strong interest in AI-driven automation.\nYou will design and implement automation across IT operations, security, service management, and device management, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and effective.\nTo match the requirements of the role, you will be expected to work from the office in Aarhus approximately three days per week.\nKey Responsibilities\nAI Automation & Orchestration\nDesign and implement AI-driven workflows for IT operations and support.\nBuild prompts, knowledge structures, and automation logic for AI agents.\nContinuously improve AI performance through monitoring, testing, and feedback.\nDefine clear escalation paths between AI systems and human specialists.\nEvaluate, implement, and optimize AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Claude, and similar technologies.\nKnowledge & Infrastructure Management\nTransform IT expertise into AI-ready knowledge bases, runbooks, and decision trees.\nMaintain documentation for infrastructure, networks, systems, and configurations.\nDefine monitoring metrics, alerts, and anomaly detection criteria.\nSupport AI learning and optimization through structured incident and operational data.\nInfrastructure, Security & Compliance\nValidate AI-driven actions across server, network, cloud, and virtual environments.\nReview automation outputs and refine workflows to ensure accuracy and reliability.\nSupport security monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives.\nEnsure adherence to ISO 27001, GDPR, and internal governance standards.\nEnd-User & Device Management\nDevelop AI-assisted onboarding, offboarding, and device management processes.\nImplement intelligent provisioning and self-service support solutions.\nEnhance Jira Service Management through AI-powered ticket classification, routing, and resolution.\nInnovation & Continuous Improvement\nStay current with emerging AI technologies and IT automation trends.\nPilot and evaluate new AI tools, platforms, and use cases.\nPromote AI adoption and digital transformation across the IT organization.\nContribute to Nexfeld's AI strategy, roadmap, and future vision.\nThe role involves approximately 5-10 travel days per year.\nWho We Are Looking For\nTo succeed in this role, you have experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or technical operations, combined with a passion for using AI to improve efficiency and scalability.\nWe expect you to have:\nStrong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking, and firewalls.\nExperience with VMware, Hyper-V, and IT monitoring tools.\nExperience with AI-driven automation, workflows, and prompt design.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity, endpoint protection, and access management.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.\nThe ability to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs.\nExcellent communication skills in English, our corporate language.\nExperience with PowerShell, Python, Azure, Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Jira Service Management, or similar automation platforms is an advantage.\nWhy Join Nexfeld Europe? \nNexfeld Europe is part of Modaxo, a global network of technology companies dedicated to public transportation.
