To support this next phase of growth, they are investing further in their data capabilities and want to make data an increasingly important part of operational, product and strategic decision-making.\nThis is not a traditional reporting role where you will simply receive requests for dashboards.\nWe are looking for someone who is curious about how a business works, enjoys asking questions and can use data to understand what is happening, why it is happening and what the company should do about it.\nYou will work across the organisation with stakeholders from Operations, Finance, Sales, Growth, Digital, Partnerships and Product.\nThe position offers a highly flexible, almost fully remote working model. Candidates can be based anywhere in Belgium. Depending on your location and profile, office presence could range from approximately once a week to once every two weeks or even once a month.\nWhat will you do?\nAs a Data Analyst, you will help the organisation understand and improve the different drivers behind its rapid growth.\nYou will take ownership of analytical questions from beginning to end. Rather than simply executing requests, you will work with stakeholders to understand the underlying business problem, identify the right data and determine the most appropriate way to answer the question.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nTranslating business challenges into clear analytical questions and frameworks\n\nExploring data to identify trends, bottlenecks, opportunities and unexpected changes\n\nChallenging stakeholder requests when the initial question does not address the real business issue\n\nAnalysing operational performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency as volumes continue to scale\n\nAnalysing acquisition, conversion and customer/patient journeys to identify friction points\n\nSupporting Product teams with data around new features, user behaviour, funnels and A/B testing\n\nAnalysing financial performance, revenue and margins to help prioritise high-impact initiatives\n\nWorking on Growth and Digital topics such as acquisition channels, attribution, UTM data and campaign performance\n\nDefining and monitoring business KPIs, North Star Metrics and operational indicators\n\nBuilding and improving dashboards and data visualisations\n\nConducting ad hoc analyses and impact studies\n\nConnecting and exploring new data sources\n\nHelping stakeholders understand the data and translating complex findings into actionable recommendations\n\nContributing to improvements in data models and the overall analytics environment\n\nThe scope is deliberately broad. One day you might investigate why a KPI suddenly dropped, while the next you could analyse a conversion funnel, evaluate the impact of a new product feature or help Operations understand how rapidly increasing volumes will affect staffing requirements.\nWhat are we looking for?\nWe are looking for a Data Analyst who combines strong analytical skills with genuine business acumen.\nYou should be comfortable working independently in an environment where everything is not always fully defined in advance. You enjoy investigating problems, asking questions and finding pragmatic ways to generate useful insights.\nKey requirements :\nStrong hands-on experience with SQL - this is the most important technical requirement\n\nAbility to explore data independently rather than relying exclusively on pre-built datasets or dashboards\n\nExperience translating business questions into analytical approaches and actionable insights\n\nExperience creating dashboards and meaningful data visualisations\n\nGood understanding of Python and the ability to understand, follow and adapt scripts; expert-level Python development is not required\n\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\n\nAbility to explain complex analyses clearly to non-technical colleagues\n\nComfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and challenging their assumptions when necessary\n\nHigh degree of autonomy, curiosity and initiative\n\nComfortable working in a rapidly changing scale-up environment\n\nFluent professional English with fluent level in either French or Dutch\n\nNice to have: previous experience in a start-up or scale-up (ie. fast moving environments)\nWe are flexible regarding the exact number of years of experience. Several years of relevant Data Analytics experience would be ideal, but potential, maturity, autonomy and demonstrated impact are more important than a specific number of years on your CV.\nTechnical environment:\nThe current data environment includes technologies such as:\nSQL / PostgreSQL\n\nPython\n\nBI & dashboarding tools\n\nSQLMesh\n\nAzure\n\nData modelling\n\nProduct and digital analytics tools\n\nExperience with the exact technology stack is not required. If you have strong SQL fundamentals, relevant analytics experience and the ability to learn new technologies quickly, we would still like to hear from you.\nThe existing data environment is already relatively mature and usable. You will therefore not be joining a company where everything needs to be rebuilt from scratch.
