Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to infrastructure projects, while the remaining 30% will focus on maintaining and supporting the existing environment.\nAbout the role\nYou'll join a close-knit Infrastructure team consisting of four engineers and a Team Leader. Working in a relatively small team means you'll enjoy a broad technical scope and be involved in a wide variety of infrastructure initiatives.\nThe organisation is currently completing an important infrastructure transformation. While the core hardware infrastructure is gradually being centralised at national level, the local team remains responsible for the software layer, server environments, deployments, automation and continuous improvement.\nThis is therefore a role where you'll help shape the future infrastructure while ensuring business\ncontinuity.\nWhat you'll do\nApproximately 70% Project Work\nYou'll actively contribute to the evolution of the infrastructure landscape by participating in projects such as:\nInfrastructure automation initiatives\n\nWindows 11 deployment and workstation standardisation\n\nServer clustering and high-availability projects\n\nAutomation through scripting\n\nSharePoint-related projects\n\nAutomating employee onboarding processes\n\nContinuous improvement of the server and virtualisation environment\n\nDeployment of new infrastructure components and software packages\n\nCreating technical documentation and sharing knowledge within the IT team\n\nYou'll work closely with your colleagues to identify opportunities for automation, improve existing processes and modernise the infrastructure environment.\nApproximately 30% Operational Activities\nAlongside project work, you'll also help ensure the stability and performance of the infrastructure by handling:\n2nd and 3rd line infrastructure support\n\nWindows Server administration\n\nBasic Linux administration\n\nServer patching and lifecycle management\n\nVirtual machine management\n\nBackup administration\n\nWindows 11 image and MSI package deployment\n\nDatabase administration\n\nNetwork monitoring and troubleshooting\n\nCore switch monitoring and incident resolution\n\nTechnical documentation\n\nSupporting and training the Helpdesk whenever new technologies or major changes are introduced\n\nWho we're looking for\nWe're looking for a versatile infrastructure engineer rather than a pure networking specialist.\nBoth medior and senior profiles are welcome.
