Working closely with engineers and quality teams, you will conduct detailed physical and material analysis to identify defects, failure mechanisms, and root causes.\nThis role is hands-on and laboratory-based, requiring strong technical skills in sample preparation, microscopy, and analytical techniques. You will contribute directly to improving product quality, reliability, and manufacturing performance.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform Construction Analysis (ConAna) on semiconductor packages following SOPs and work instructions\n\nConduct failure analysis using techniques such as SCAT, DPA, cross-sectioning, IMC measurement, and cratering analysis\n\nPrepare samples through cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, and etching\n\nOperate laboratory equipment including precision saws, polishing machines, optical microscopes, and measurement tools\n\nCapture, analyze, and document microscopy images and measurement data\n\nPerform dimensional measurements and visual inspections of semiconductor packages\n\nRecord findings and prepare reports in compliance with lab standards\n\nSupport engineers in failure investigations and root cause analysis\n\nEnsure proper sample handling, identification, and traceability\n\nMaintain lab equipment, cleanliness, and consumables\n\nPerform routine maintenance, calibration, and equipment checks\n\nFollow ESD, safety, and quality procedures\n\nReport abnormalities and technical issues proactively\n\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives\n\nWhat You'll Need\nDiploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent\n\nExperience or exposure to semiconductor failure analysis, reliability testing, or quality labs\n\nKnowledge of optical microscopy and sample preparation techniques\n\nFamiliarity with JEDEC, IPC, or MIL-STD standards\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint\n\nExperience with SEM, EDX, or similar tools is an advantage\n\nFamiliarity with image analysis software or LIMS systems\n\nUnderstanding of semiconductor packaging and assembly processes is preferred\n\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills\n\nAbility to follow SOPs independently\n\nGood communication and teamwork skills\n\nTalent acquisition based on Nexperia vacancies is not appreciated.
