Working alongside experienced engineers, the successful candidate will progressively develop the competencies required for a future Quality Engineer role.\nThis is your new role\nSupport manufacturing quality activities within assigned production areas and processes. \nAssist with the collection, review, and reporting of quality and process performance data. \nParticipate in investigations of non-conformances, process deviations, and manufacturing abnormalities under guidance.\nLearn and apply quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, MSA, Document Management, Auditing and Root Cause Analysis.\nSupport audits, reviews, business administration, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAssist in maintaining compliance with quality procedures, standards, and safety requirements.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, process engineering, and quality teams on quality-related topics.\nContribute to quality documentation, reporting, and structured problem-solving activities.\nParticipate in structured training and development activities to build technical and professional capabilities.\nThis is you\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Quality, or a related discipline.\nStrong interest in manufacturing, technology, and quality engineering.\nBasic understanding of data analysis and structured problem-solving approaches.\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint.\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to communicate effectively in English and German\nWillingness to learn and develop within a dynamic manufacturing environment.\nAbility to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.\nDesirable\nFirst experience in manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, or quality-related environments through internships, projects, KPI-reporting or vocational training.\nBasic knowledge of quality methodologies such as SPC, MSA, 8D or Root Cause Analysis.\nInterest in semiconductor manufacturing and advanced technologies.\nThis is your department and colleagues\nYou will join the Manufacturing Quality team at Nexperia's Hamburg wafer fab, one of Europe's leading semiconductor manufacturing sites.
