Candidates from the semiconductor industry are highly preferred, though experienced sourcing professionals from other manufacturing industries will also be considered.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for direct materials, particularly metal commodities, to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity objectives.\nSource, evaluate, qualify, and manage suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality performance, and long-term strategic partnerships.\nLead commercial negotiations on pricing, payment terms, contracts, and supplier agreements.\nConduct market analysis, cost benchmarking, and commodity trend monitoring to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Quality, Finance, and Operations to support business and production requirements.\nDrive supplier performance management through regular reviews of quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost competitiveness.\nEnsure all procurement activities comply with company procurement policies and procedures.\nSupport procurement operational activities, including RFQs, sourcing projects, supplier onboarding, and purchase requisition management.\nMaintain purchasing system master data and ensure procurement records are accurate and up to date.\nExecute initiatives supporting procurement KPIs, including cost savings, supplier performance improvement, process efficiency, and procurement excellence.\nSupport supplier development and risk management activities to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain.\nQualifications & Experience:\nBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5-8 years of sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or strategic sourcing experience within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience in direct material sourcing (BE BOM) is required.\nExperience managing metal commodities such as Lead Frame (LF), Bonding Wire, Solder Paste, Metal Components, Raw Materials, or similar commodities is highly preferred.\nSemiconductor industry experience is preferred. However, candidates from electronics, EMS, automotive, industrial manufacturing, or other related industries are encouraged to apply.\nProven track record in supplier negotiations, contract management, cost reduction initiatives, and supplier performance management.\nExperience working with ERP systems such as SAP will be an added advantage.\nTechnical Competencies:\nStrong knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement processes.\nExperience in commodity management and supplier relationship management.\nStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.\nKnowledge of procurement analytics, cost modelling, and market benchmarking.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\nKnowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.\nSoft Skills:\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills.\nResults-oriented with a high level of ownership and attention to detail.\nTalent acquisition based on Nexperia vacancies is not appreciated.
