This role serves as a bridge between traditional IT support and broadcast engineering, ensuring reliable operation of computers, software, networks, media workflows, and broadcast-related technologies. The specialist troubleshoots user issues, supports critical production systems, and works closely with News, Production and Sales departments.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTechnical Support\nProvide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for broadcast and corporate technology systems.\nRespond to and resolve support requests through ticketing systems, phone, email, and in-person assistance.\nTroubleshoot workstation, software, printer, mobile device, and peripheral issues.\nConfigure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, and user hardware.\nNetwork & Infrastructure Support\nPerform basic network troubleshooting for wired and wireless systems.\nSupport IP-based broadcast and production technologies.\nIdentify connectivity and performance issues affecting broadcast operations.\nCoordinate with engineering team to resolve infrastructure issues.\nOperational Support\nAssist with software deployment, updates, and patch management.\nAssist with equipment installation, testing, and system upgrades.\nCreate and manage user accounts, permissions, and group memberships.\nMaintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.\nMaintain asset inventory and technology documentation.\nMonitor system health and escalate issues to Broadcast Engineers when necessary.\nParticipate in after-hours support and on-call rotations as required.\nSupport Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.\nRequired Qualifications\nTechnical degree in Information Systems, Digital Electronics, Broadcasting or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\nExperience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.\nWorking knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.\nFluency in English\nStrong troubleshooting and customer service skills.\nValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in television, radio, media, production, or broadcast environments.\nFamiliarity with broadcast systems such as:Newsroom Computer Systems (NRCS)\nMedia Asset Management (MAM)\nVideo servers and playout systems\nNon-linear editing systems\nIP video and audio transport technologies\n\nKey
