If you are looking for a place to make a difference, and you have the experience, the enthusiasm, and the human touch in your on-camera presentation, we want to hear from you.\nJOB SUMMARY: Anchors weathercasts and weather content for all platforms, including TV and digital, able to handle continuous severe weather coverage in the heart of Tornado Alley.\nPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities:\nForecasts and prepares weather products across all platforms, including television and digital platforms\nAnchors weathercasts on KSN and affiliated newscasts; Bilingual (Spanish) meteorologists will anchor weathercasts on Telemundo newscasts\nAnchors severe weather coverage and produces special content as required for severe weather\nActively develops content for social media, podcasts and other digital platforms to inform and engage viewers and grow audience\nPlays an active and visible role in the community\nSpecialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nRock solid forecasting skill and love of meteorology\nOutstanding real time Dual Pol Doppler Radar interpretation skills\nDynamic, personable, genuine on-air performance skills\nStrong ability to grasp the fast-changing digital world, delivering weather content across multiple platforms\nExcellent people skills to ensure smooth and productive working relationships both internally and externally\nPositive leadership skills to create and maintain cohesive weather team\nFluent in English, Bilingual (Spanish) a plus \nTraining/Equipment: Familiarity with Baron broadcast meteorology systems a plus. Willingness to learn and gain expertise a must.\nRequirements: BS in Meteorology or equivalent required. Transcripts will be required.
