You will write, review and ship code, own it in production, and make AI tools work on real, long-lived codebases - not demos.You will work with Platform Product, our architects, Developer Experience, QA, Security and the product teams that use the platform, across several European countries.\nYour Responsibilities\nAs a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:\nThe integration layer\nDesign, build and run the platform's APIs and integration services, behind one front door: our API gateway.\nBuild OEM and partner integrations on our new integration platform - each one a reviewed recipe, not a project of its own - and move existing ones onto\nit, domain by domain.\nOwn what you build in production: monitoring, on-call, fixing what breaks.\nContracts and access\nDesign versioned contracts for the core entities - customer and vehicle first, then workshop and parts - one shape, whatever the DMS.\nApply one API policy - versioning, deprecation, error codes - so partners keep working when things change.\nHelp build one sign-in and permission model: who may call what, for which dealer.\nStable and safe\nAdd SLOs, alerts and contract tests to the top APIs; release in stages, with rollback.\nBuild security in: no secrets in code, scans in every pipeline, vulnerabilities fixed on time.\nLead incidents when needed; write the post-mortem and see its actions through.\nAI in how we build\nMake AI coding assistants and agents (Claude Code or similar) work on our codebases: repository instructions, conventions, architecture maps, tools.\nGrow our AI assembly line for integrations - design, build and test, deploy -with a person approving the contract and the release.\nBring AI code review and AI-built tests into the pipeline, with our Developer Experience team.\nWork inside a product team when it needs it, pairing on its code, so the AI tools keep working after you move on.\nKeep AI governed and measured: what data goes where, human review of every change; adoption, lead time and change failure rate, reported honestly.\nShared knowledge and the bar\nKeep designs, runbooks and post-mortems open and AI-readable, so anyone can ask what broke last time and what fixed it.\nReview code and designs, coach engineers, write short guides.\nAt Staff level: set technical direction beyond the team, with our architects; lead migrations other teams depend on; help design how AI agents use the\nplatform safely - identities, limits, audit.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nExperience\n8+ years in software engineering, at Senior or Staff level.\nBuilt and run production APIs and integrations that other teams or partners depend on.\nModernised long-lived software while keeping it running.\nUsed AI coding assistants and agents on large, long-lived codebases, beyond demos.\nLanguages\nFluent English (mandatory; interviews in English).\nFrench is a plus.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong in C#/.NET or Java.\nAPI and contract design - REST, versioning, backward compatibility, API gateways, OAuth2.\nIntegration patterns and frameworks (Apache Camel or similar), messaging and events.\nAzure and AWS; containers and Kubernetes.\nCI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar), automated and contract testing, observability (OpenTelemetry or similar).\nLLM tooling - context engineering, agents, MCP, evaluation - and AI security: data leakage, prompt injection, secrets.\nInterpersonal Skills\nEarns trust fast in a team they don't belong to.\nHumble about what AI can't do yet.\nAt Staff level, sets direction others follow.\nCommunication\nShows rather than tells.\nClear in writing - designs, pull requests, short guides.\nNice to have\nAutomotive, DMS or CRM software.\nSoftware installed at customer sites.\nBuilt developer tools or AI workflows other teams use.\nRetrieval over code and documents.\nOpen-source contributions.\nOur Recruitment Process:\n1. 30-minute introductory call with our Talent Acquisition Specialist.\n2.
