Audit and Assurance Coordinator, you’ll play an important role by working closely with our Operational teams, and other subject matter experts within the company to coordinate and facilitate assurance-related customer requests.\nHere you’ll be responsible for ensuring seamless communication, compliance, and collaboration between NEXTDC and its customers for all assurance-related engagements.\nThis is a fixed term contract position\nThis role\nDevelop and maintain streamlined processes with Operational teams for managing customer and partner audit and assurance requests. \nAct as the primary point of contact for customer audit requests, providing clear, timely communication and support throughout the audit process. \nCoordinate audit activities, including onsite visits, interviews, document reviews and access requests, in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders. \nGather and compile documentation, records and evidence requested for audits, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance. \nEngage with Risk and Compliance, Legal, Engineering and other relevant teams to ensure audit deliverables meet applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements and contractual obligations. \nFacilitate meetings, discussions and interviews between customers and internal subject matter experts, promoting transparency and effective information sharing. \nMaintain comprehensive records of customer communications, audit documentation, progress, findings and action items to support timely resolution. \nProvide regular progress updates and status reports to customers and internal stakeholders. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security, Safety, Facility Operations, IT, Customer Success, Risk and Compliance, and Legal, to address audit findings, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement. \nLiaise between customers and internal teams to resolve audit-related questions, concerns and disputes professionally and with a customer-focused approach. \nStay informed of industry standards, regulatory requirements and best practices relevant to data centre compliance and assurance. \nContribute to strategic planning to align audit facilitation activities with organisational objectives and customer expectations. \nPromote a culture of compliance, collaboration and customer satisfaction across the organisation. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nWhat you’ll bring:\nStrong analytical skills and the ability to assess information accurately. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels. \nStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively to meet service level agreements (SLAs). \nStrong attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation and records. \nIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. \nFluency in written and spoken English. \n 3-5 years’ experience in assurance coordination or a similar role, ideally within data centres or critical infrastructure. \nStrong customer service skills, with experience building relationships and liaising with internal stakeholders. \nExperience coordinating customer requests, preferably within the IT or technology industry. \nThe ability to help customers understand products, services and assurance requirements clearly and confidently. \n Be
