Our culture is built on collaboration and innovation, we are passionate about what we do, and we are committed to our mission to be the leading customer centric data centre services company.\n As our HV Operations Lead, you will own the day-to-day safe operation and operational oversight of all High Voltage (HV) electrical infrastructure across our data centre campus. You will ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of critical power systems that keep our facilities running 24/7. This is a hands-on, site-based role. Safety, precision, and uptime are non-negotiable.\nWhat you’ll do:\nTake technical ownership of all HV electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and distribution networks to ensure full compliance with electrical safety regulations, industry standards, and internal frameworks \nPlan, coordinate, and execute high voltage switching operations in accordance with approved procedures and safety standards \nIssue and manage HV permits and access authorities as HV Authorised Person, ensuring strict compliance with electrical safety requirements \nMaintain and enforce HV operational procedures, including switching, isolation, emergency response, and safety protocols \nCoordinate planned outages and isolations for maintenance, upgrades, and fault resolution \nAct as the key interface with electricity utility providers for supply, outages, and infrastructure coordination \nOversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs for HV systems \nLead fault investigations, root cause analysis, and development of corrective and preventive actions \nReview and approve Method of Procedure (MOP), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP), and Safe Work Instructions (SWI) \nThis opportunity will see you working with world leaders in our space. Join our Australian journey now and be an integral part of our success.\nWhat you’ll bring:\nProven experience performing HV switching operations and managing electrical isolations, including as HV Authorised Person or equivalent state-based authority \nDeep knowledge of HV switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and power distribution networks, BMS, SCADA, and power monitoring systems \nStrong understanding of electrical safety regulations, permit systems, and safe work practices \nAbility to interpret electrical schematics and single line diagrams; experience working within protection-coordinated HV systems \nAbility to diagnose complex electrical faults \nAbility to operate effectively in a high-availability, safety-critical environment \nAbility to manage relationships with contractors, OEMs, and utility providers \nContact us today to find out more about the local opportunities we have available.\n Recognised electrical trade qualification with significant HV experience or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
