This position is located in Brownsville, TX.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDemonstrate proactive safety attitude at all times.\nAlways uses safe work practices and follows NextDecade lifesaving rules and permitting processes.\nMaintains a high focus on safety and wellbeing of execution team, leads by example to set and maintain a positive safety culture of compliance and continuous improvement for Apprentices and Contractors\nEngages and communicates effectively with all maintenance disciplines as required, not just the Instrumentation team, including Electrical, Mechanical, Plant Services, Planning, Engineering, Specialist Vendors and Contractors upholding the One-Team approach\nInitial support and continued review of Preventative & Corrective Maintenance Plans aligned to the equipment selected for this facility.\nParticipate in the reviewing of maintenance documentation, such as Work Instruction’s, Job Safety Analysis, Permitting, red lining of documents.\nParticipate in the Instrumentation maintenance execution activities of all breakdown, corrective and preventative maintenance in the facility\nProvide support to the leadership of the Turnaround Team prior and during Turnarounds\nResponsible to safely complete all assigned activities to a high standard\nPerform Permit Holder requirements for the execution of work at RGLNG\nMaintain personal training and competency compliance.\nActively participate in all the required maintenance execution meetings, including HSSE meetings, pre-starts, work allocation tasks, tailgates and toolboxes etc. \nEDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES\nBasic Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nTechnical degree in Industrial Maintenance Instrumentation or similar and NCCER preferred.\n5+ years LNG Export Facility experience in an Instrumentation Maintenance Execution role or 10+ years' experience in LNG/Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries.\nCompetent for all Instrumentation Maintenance activities.\nCompetent at interpreting Engineering Drawings and Documentation i.e. P&ID, ISO, GA, Logic, Control Narratives, Cause & Effect, Loop & Wiring, etc\nMust have experience with the testing and inspection of Safety Critical Elements (SCE), Statutory and Federal Regulatory compliance.\nExperience in GOAL setting and performance management.\nExperience and working knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP or Similar)\nExperience working with and red-lining critical Maintenance procedures.\nGood working knowledge of an Management Of Change (MOC) process.\nExperience in maintenance activities during Turnarounds.\nRelevant Instrumentation LNG maintenance experience including Integrated Control & Safety Systems (DCS / SIS), PLC’s, Flow Computers, analyzers, gas turbines, fire & gas detection systems, control valves, anti-surge control, and field instrumentation is a must.\nAbility to Obtain NFPA 70E qualification\nExperience with Instrumentation Equipment in Hazardous Classified Areas\nExperience with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) equipment isolations in accordance with Permit to Work Systems and processes.\nMust be experienced in writing/reviewing Work Instructions\nComputer literate in Word, Excel, and CMMS/database applications.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to work.\nMust be able to obtain a TWIC card.\nParticipate as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) to support on-site emergencies\nSite Working Conditions & Physical Expectations\nWork Environment\nMust be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.\nOperates in a complex construction environment.\nExposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.\nNot necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions.\nExposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits.\nExposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.\nRoutinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.\nAble to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations:\nAbility to drive to other Company work locations as required.\nAbility to move throughout all areas of the facility, including being physically capable of traveling to a designed muster point during emergency situations.\nStand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift.\nThe incumbent is required to have fully mechanical motion and usage of all extremities.\nPhysically able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle, and lift items weighing up to 20 lbs. without assistance.\nVisual acuity corrected to perform job functions.
