Working closely with the Sr. Business Improvement Manager, this role contributes to the execution of the Business Excellence Management System (BEMS), drives continuous improvement initiatives, and supports strategic planning activities that improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and organizational effectiveness.\nThe Coordinator, Business serves as a key partner to operations, maintenance, technical, and business functions by providing data-driven analysis, facilitating improvement projects, coordinating planning cycles, and supporting budget development and forecasting processes. This position helps ensure business objectives are translated into measurable performance outcomes and continuous improvement actions across the organization.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead Financial Planning: Drive the development, tracking, and analysis of annual operational budgets and rolling forecasts.\nBuild Financial Models: Create and maintain complex spreadsheets and quantitative models to evaluate operational performance.\nDevelop Management Presentations: Synthesize complex data into high-impact PowerPoint presentations and actionable reports for senior leadership.\nDrive Business Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement data-driven strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs.\nProvide Operational Insights: Partner closely with operations teams to translate field metrics into financial impact assessments.\nOversee Variance Analysis: Monitor monthly spend against forecast, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to management.\nFoster Safety Leadership: Maintain a \"Safety First\" attitude and champion safety initiatives across all operational and planning activities.\nEDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES\nBasic Requirements:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience: 5+ years of progressive experience in operational planning, financial modeling, or business improvement.\nAnalytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in building financial models, managing complex spreadsheets, and analyzing large datasets.\nCommunication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to present to executive management.\nSoftware Mastery: Expert-level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.\nIndependence: Strong ability to work autonomously, manage shifting priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.\nPreferred Requirements:\nIndustry Experience: Background in capital-intensive or heavy industries like oil and gas, petrochemicals, manufacturing, or logistics.\nSystems Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning software, specifically SAP.\nStrategic Background: Proven track record of leading large-scale corporate efficiency or business transformation initiatives.\n Credentials: Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, or a Master of Business Administration (MBA).\nSite Working Conditions & Physical Expectations\nWork Environment\nMust be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.\nOperates in a complex construction environment.\nExposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.\nNot necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes.
