This role involves collaborating with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to optimize resource allocation, minimize downtime, and maintain compliance with safety and reliability standards. The Scheduler plays a key role in maintaining asset integrity and operational efficiency. This position is located at the RGLNG site in Brownsville, TX.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintenance Scheduling & Coordination\nDevelop and manage detailed maintenance schedules for routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.\nCoordinate maintenance activities with operations, reliability, and engineering teams to minimize disruptions to LNG production.\nEnsure work orders are prioritized based on safety, criticality, and operational impact.\nMonitor schedule adherence and adjust plans to accommodate changes in operational conditions.\nWorkforce & Resource Optimization\nCoordinate labor, materials, and equipment availability to optimize maintenance execution.\nEnsure proper allocation of technicians and contractors based on workload and priority.\nMonitor and track work progress, identifying potential bottlenecks and delays.\nCompliance & Safety Standards\nEnsure maintenance activities comply with LNG industry safety regulations, OSHA, API, and company policies.\nSupport risk assessments, permit-to-work processes, and job hazard analyses (JHA).\nMaintain accurate documentation of maintenance schedules and work history.\nReporting & Continuous Improvement\nGenerate reports on maintenance performance, schedule compliance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).\nAnalyze maintenance trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.\nAssist in optimizing the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS such as SAP 4 HANA, Prometheus or similar platforms).\nEDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES\nBasic Requirements:\nJourneyman or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Controls, Project Management, Maintenance Management, or a related field.\nMinimum 5-10 years of experience in maintenance within LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.\nProficiency in CMMS software (SAP, Prometheus, MS Project, P6) for scheduling and work order management.\nStrong knowledge of LNG plant maintenance processes, reliability practices, and equipment types.\nExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.\nUnderstanding of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.\nEligible to be issued Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) are required. \nPreferred Requirements:\nWorking knowledge of Concur and Workday\nAdditional training specifically in computer/software and/or prior demonstratable work experience.\nOther Duties:\nShutdown & Turnaround Planning\nAssist in planning and scheduling major maintenance shutdowns and turnarounds.\nEnsure all shutdown activities are properly sequenced, resourced, and aligned with operational needs.\nWork with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the availability of spare parts and equipment.\nSite Working Conditions & Physical Expectations\nWork Environment\nMust be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.\nOperates in a complex construction environment.\nExposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.\nNot necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes.
