Mechanical provides leadership and oversight of mechanical maintenance execution activities including personnel, with the objective of ensuring safe, quality work practices while maximizing availability of equipment across the facility.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDemonstrate proactive safety leadership to the Maintenance team.\nResponsible for the safety and wellbeing of execution team, leads by example to set and maintain a positive safety culture of compliance and continuous improvement.\nCoach, Mentor and Lead Maintenance team members to reach their full potential.\nEnsure competent labor availability to cover critical activities.\nOversee and maintain team training and competency requirements\nProvide oversight and leadership to all maintenance disciplines as required, not just the Mechanical team, including Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Plant Services, Specialist Vendors and Contractors upholding the One-Team approach\nStakeholder in the development, implementation and ongoing support of the Integrated Activity Planning & Scheduling process for RGLNG\nInitial support and continued review of Preventative & Corrective Maintenance Plans aligned to the equipment selected for this facility.\nLead the execution activities for all SCE, Statutory, and Federal Regulations and manage associated compliance processes including deferals, backlog etc.\nResponsible for the Mechanical maintenance execution activities of all breakdown, corrective and preventative maintenance in the facility\nProvide support to the leadership of the Turnaround Team prior and during Turnarounds\nLead Mechanical teams in the execution of the Major Maintenance of plant and unit shutdowns\nResponsible to safely complete all planned activities on the locked schedule, maximizing tooltime and minimizing cost & deferrals.\nStakeholder in the review of materials and parts optimization\nDemonstrate continuous improvement, value adding programmes and cost saving intiatives\nProvide coverage for the Maintenance Superintendent as required.\nDeliver the required maintenance execution meetings, including HSSE meetings, pre-starts, work allocation tasks, toolboxes etc.\nAttend execution workfronts on a daily basis\nAssess and maintain tooling inventory and calibration equipment as required\nEDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES\nBasic Requirements:\nSubject Matter Expert (SME) for all Mechanical Maintenance activities.\n5+ years LNG Export Facility experience in an Mechanical Maintenance Execution lead role, supervising maintenance personnel, with 10+ years experience in LNG/Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries in a supervisory position.\nCompetent at interpreting Engineering Drawings and Documentation.\nMust have experience with the function testing and inspection of Safety Critical Elements (SCE) to meet Statutory and Federal Regulatory compliance.\nExperience in GOAL setting and performance management.\nExceptional working knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP or Similar)\nExperience developing and reviewing critical Maintenance procedures.\nExceptional working knowledge of an MOC process.\nExperience in frontline leadership during Turnarounds.\nMechanical LNG experience including Turbo machinery, compressors, loading arms, PSV’s, pumps, motors, vessels, valves, actuators, fin fans and flange management.\nRelevant LNG Mechanical Pipefitter maintenance experience including Fabrication and/or repair of piping, etc. using various welding processes as required (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW) / Blinding of pipes, vessels, tanks, exchangers, etc. to prepare equipment for operations and maintenance. \nPreferred Requirements:\nTechnical degree in Industrial Mechanical or similar and NCCER (Millwright/Pipefitter/Boilermaker) preferred.\nSite Working Conditions & Physical Expectations\nWork Environment\nMust be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.\nOperates in a complex construction environment.\nExposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.\nNot necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions.\nExposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits.\nExposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.\nRoutinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.\nAble to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations:\nAbility to drive to other Company work locations as required.\nAbility to move throughout all areas of the facility, including being physically capable of traveling to a designed muster point during emergency situations.\nStand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift.\nThe incumbent is required to have fully mechanical motion and usage of all extremities.\nPhysically able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle, and lift items weighing up to 20 lbs. without assistance.\nVisual acuity corrected to perform job functions.
