The SAP Technical Architect will be responsible for defining the overall SAP technical strategy, ensuring solution scalability, security, availability, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Architecture & Strategy\nDefine and maintain the SAP technical architecture roadmap aligned with business and IT strategies.\nDesign scalable, secure, and high-availability SAP landscapes across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.\nLead architecture reviews and establish SAP technical standards and best practices.\nDevelop target-state architecture for SAP transformation and modernisation initiatives.\nSAP Platform Design\nArchitect SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BTP, and related SAP technology platforms.\nDesign SAP system landscapes including Development, QA, Pre-Production, Production, DR, and Sandbox environments.\nDefine sizing, capacity planning, performance tuning, and high-availability architecture.\nLead SAP cloud adoption strategies across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI, and SAP RISE environments.\nIntegration Architecture\nDesign enterprise integration architecture involving SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, REST APIs, SOAP Services, and middleware platforms.\nEnsure seamless integration between SAP and third-party applications.\nEstablish API management and integration governance standards.\nSAP Basis & Infrastructure Leadership\nOversee SAP Basis administration and landscape management.\nDefine system refresh, transport management, patching, upgrade, and migration strategies.\nLead SAP kernel upgrades, database migrations, and platform modernisation projects.\nArchitect backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.\nSecurity & Compliance\nDesign SAP security architecture aligned with organisational policies.\nDefine authentication, authorisation, SSO, MFA, and identity integration frameworks.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.\nSupport security assessments and vulnerability remediation activities.\nPerformance & Availability\nDefine system monitoring and observability strategies.\nLead performance optimisation initiatives across SAP applications and databases.\nEstablish SLA, RTO, and RPO targets for SAP environments.\nDesign high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.\nLeadership & Governance\nProvide technical leadership across SAP programmes and projects.\nMentor SAP Basis, integration, development, and infrastructure teams.\nReview technical designs, implementation plans, and architecture deliverables.\nEngage with executive stakeholders and technology partners.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.\n15+ years of SAP technical consulting and architecture experience.\nMinimum 5 full lifecycle SAP implementation or transformation projects.\nProven experience in SAP technical architecture and enterprise-scale deployments.\nStrong expertise in SAP Basis, HANA, cloud migration, and integrations.\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA migration and modernisation programmes.\nPreferred Certifications\nSAP Certified Technology Associate -
