From single-use disposables to fully integrated systems to precision components, our teams work as an extension of yours to solve patient needs and improve lives worldwide.\nThe Medical Device Assembler III will be responsible for maintaining the overall manufacturing process in their assigned area as well as monitoring of product quality and output yields for their line; assists with ongoing training and development and accountability of all team members; setting an example for the line employees while creating high functioning teams.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWorks as part of a team to assemble parts.\nBuilds product by following all processes, and completes other assigned work, while meeting goals and metrics.\nMaintain accurate records, including training records, and required paperwork. \nSorts and places material or items on tables, racks or bins.\nAssembles small parts manually under a microscope.\nCleans assembled parts and places in protective bags or boxes.\nPackages assembled parts\nPicks up, moves, and sorts small parts.\nReport defective material or questionable condition to the department supervisor or line lead. \nContribute and adhere to safety and quality process and procedures.\nCommunicate status of operation in a timely manner to management including any safety and/or process problems.\nMaintain a clean and safe work area\nRequirements\nRequired:\nMust possess a high school diploma or GED\nAt least 1 year of assembly experience\nProficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) required.\nKnowledge of basic assembly and tooling.\nMust be friendly, courteous, service-oriented, flexible, and enjoy working with a variety of staff.\nMust be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.\nMust be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; work well under pressure; able to manage multiple projects.\nSalary range: $20 to 23/hr based on skills and experience\nBenefits\nHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)\nRetirement Plan with Company Match\nPaid Time Off, Personal Days, AND Birthday Holiday!\nLifetime Membership Subsidy and Wellness Resources\nLife Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)\nFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)\nShort-Term & Long-Term Disability\nTaco Thursdays!!!\nNextern is an equal opportunity employer.
